Underground Construction

Expert directional drilling, missile boring, trenching, and plowing for fiber optic infrastructure deployment across any terrain.

CORE SERVICE

Building the Foundation for Fiber Networks

We Agree deploys skilled crews and modern heavy equipment to install underground conduit and fiber across residential, commercial, and rural environments. Our underground construction division is the backbone of every fiber deployment project we undertake.

Our primary methods are directional drilling and missile boring — proven techniques that get conduit in the ground quickly and efficiently. We also deploy trenching and plowing crews where conditions and project requirements call for open-cut or vibratory methods.

  • Directional drilling (HDD) for precision boring beneath roads and infrastructure
  • Missile boring for fast, straight-line conduit installation
  • Trenching for efficient new fiber route excavation
  • Vibratory plowing for fast, cost-effective conduit placement

CAPABILITIES

Our Underground Construction Methods

We deploy the right method for every environment, balancing speed, cost, and minimal disruption.

Directional Drilling (HDD)

Our primary underground construction method. Horizontal directional drilling installs conduit beneath roads, driveways, waterways, and existing infrastructure without surface disruption. Ideal for crossings and sensitive environments where open-cut methods are not feasible.

Missile Boring

Pneumatic missile boring drives conduit through the ground in a straight line using a percussive, air-powered tool. Fast and efficient for short to medium runs, driveway crossings, and road bores where a direct path is needed.

Trenching

Open-cut excavation for new fiber routes where conditions allow direct access. Trenching provides efficient, high-volume conduit placement for greenfield deployments, new subdivisions, and routes where boring is not practical.

Plowing

Vibratory plowing uses vibration to part the soil and lay conduit in a single pass. Best suited for softer soils, rural environments, and longer runs where speed and cost-efficiency are the top priorities.
